"For more than a century, Route 66 has been America’s most iconic highway - a road that evolved far beyond simple transportation into a culture built on revving engines, open skies, speed, wind in your hair, and the unmistakable scent of burned gasoline. Along the way came the people, roadside diners, scenic beauty, and the enduring freedom of the open road.

What excites me most about participating in this year’s Great Race is the sheer volume and diversity of the vehicles, personalities, and experiences - all culminating in one event as we traverse our country along the Great Mother Road. I had the opportunity to drive Route 66 earlier this year from west to east, and now I get to experience it again in the opposite direction, this time with far more vehicles and with the added challenge of competing against the clock.  I’m also honored to be invited by, and to represent as a driver, the RPM Foundation. I’m especially looking forward to learning the discipline of precision driving - maintaining exact speeds over long distances and completing the event successfully as a team. The opportunity to collaborate in that environment feels both fulfilling and challenging in all the right ways.”
